LiveWell Homecare Agency in Farmington, MO is seeking a full-time RN for a night shift in an ICU setting. You will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, and implement plans while educating patients and families.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to document care plans, uphold safety, and contribute to quality improvement. Requires RN license and nursing diploma/ADN; bachelor’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.

Job description

Provides direct patient care in an ICU setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, following established nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.

• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific considerations.
• Supports a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and participating in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Licenses: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
• Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities; ability to work safely and effectively in alertness-required positions.
