Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking an ICU/stepdown registered nurse to provide direct patient care in a 4-bed ICU. The role includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing activities, with emphasis on patient- and family-centered care.

The position requires RN licensure, a nursing diploma or ADN, ICU experience, and the ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with a pathway toward leadership and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Requires Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree and RN license.
• ICU experience required; ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Work 12-hour night shifts in a full-time capacity.
• Respond to all hospital codes and provide critical care support in a 4-bed ICU/stepdown unit.

Job description

This position involves providing direct patient care in an ICU setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing activities within established standards. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in safety, quality, and regulatory compliance efforts. Key responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, communicating across care teams, and assessing physical, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs of patients.
