Job summary

UM Charles Regional Medical Center, part of the University of Maryland Medical System, seeks a Clinical Nurse II to deliver high-quality patient care across the neonatal to adult-geriatric range under moderate supervision. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, teaching patients and families, and ensuring safe, efficient care while you collaborate with a dedicated care team.

Maryland RN licensure, BLS, ACLS/NALS are required or obtainable within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and MD RN licensure.
• BLS certification and unit orientation completed.
• ACLS within six months; NALS or eligible.
• Telemetry rhythm recognition and patient monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under moderate supervision across age groups.
• Utilize nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and safety.
