Job summary

The role requires Maryland RN licensure, ACLS, BLS, and obstetric-nursery NRP or eligibility within six months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed as an RN in Maryland.
• ACLS required; NALS or eligible for completion within six months of date in position.
• BLS certification and medication certification required.
• Telemetry nurse must pass a basic arrhythmia exam and recognize critical rhythms.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and patient/family teaching using the nursing process.
• Organize and implement safe, therapeutic and efficient patient care in controlled settings with predictable outcomes.
• Care for patients from neonatal to adult-geriatric.
