Job summary

Tenet Desert in La Quinta, California seeks an ICU Charge Nurse (RN) for the Night shift in a full-time role. The PCC/charge nurse coordinates care for critically ill patients, mentors bedside staff, and supports the Rapid Response Team.

Applicants should have a California RN license, ICU experience, and certifications (CPR, ACLS, PALS). Leadership experience and 5+ years in critical care are preferred. Sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• California RN License and RN credentials
• 5 years Critical Care Experience preferred
• Leadership and management experience preferred
• CPR, ACLS, PALS certifications required or preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for critically ill patients in ICU
• Supervise unit activities and Rapid Response Team
• Assist with hiring and training of staff
• Develop and implement performance improvement projects
• Ensure equipment and supplies are available to meet patient needs
