Job summary

BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse for the ICU to lead patient care in a high-acuity environment. You will oversee nursing care, coordinate with the multidisciplinary team, and ensure smooth patient flow from admission through discharge.

Required are an RN license, 2 years ICU experience in acute care, and BLS/ACLS credentials. The role is full time, in person, with weekend requirements and no on-call duties.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing.
• 2 years RN ICU experience in an acute care setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Cares for ICU patients using nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegates care activities to health care team members.
• Manages patient needs throughout recovery in critical care.
• Monitors and updates care team on vitals and assessments.
• Responds to medical emergencies for critical patients.
• Coordinates discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
