Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Current Florida RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and direction to ICU nursing staff.
• Coordinate daily ICU operations including staffing, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient status and escalate care for deteriorating patients.
• Support staff in clinical decision-making and adherence to standards.
• Promote communication across interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist with orientation and education of nursing staff.
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify operational or patient-care concerns and assist with performance improvement.
