Qualifikationen

• Current CA RN License is required.
• BLS Provider certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or higher is required for external candidates.
• Minimum of 4 years recent clinical nursing experience in an adult ICU is required from the candidate pool.

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily operations of the department during the assigned shift.
• Ensure adherence to policy and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with scheduling, coaching, training, and performance assessments.
• Provide leadership and advanced clinical expertise to staff and patients.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and nursing-sensitive indicators.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Delegate patient care activities and ensure safety and high-quality care.
• Develop discharge teachings and plans for patients.
