Qualifications

• Graduate of an RN nursing program, on hire
• RN license in Nebraska on hire
• CPR certification on hire
• ACLS within 5 months
• PALS within 5 months

Responsibilities

• Oversee a department of frontline nurses.
• Advocate for staff and support them to reach their potential.
• Communicate clearly in 1:1 and group settings.
• Mentor and coach staff.
• Assist with unit scheduling and daily work plans.
• Ensure staff certifications meet regulatory requirements.
• Guide candidate selection and provide feedback on performance.
• Support payroll activities and monitor timekeeping.
• Manage material and supply usage.
• Support department PI to improve quality outcomes.
• Provide on-the-job training on quality and patient satisfaction.
• Maintain patient and physician satisfaction through leadership.
