Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln is seeking a Care Partner for the ICU to support staff and patients during a 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shift. The role involves direct and indirect patient care, charting, and collaboration with RN staff to ensure safe and comprehensive care.

Responsibilities include monitoring, infection control, EKGs and finger-stick glucose tests, and patient comfort. CNA or RN pre-requisites and BLS/CPR certification are required or completed within stated timelines.

Qualifications

• CNA or RN program start/eligibility as required by unit.
• BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Applies cardiac monitor under policy, procedure and physician orders.
• Completes tasks aligning with infection control standards.
• Documents and reports care delivered under RN supervision.
