St. Charles Health System is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager to provide managerial support across 24/7 units. Responsibilities include staffing, on-boarding, budget monitoring, and maintaining nursing standards to enhance patient care.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety, quality initiatives, and collaboration with leadership to develop unit goals while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• Current Oregon RN license.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.
• Three years clinical nursing experience with one year of leadership experience.
• Two years leadership experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop staffing schedules and ensure adherence to staffing plan.
• Oversee unit assignments based on patient needs and resources.
• Participate in hiring, coaching, and performance monitoring of direct reports.
• Provide opportunities for caregiver education and training.
• Maintain knowledge of nursing principles and apply policies and procedures.
• Monitor budget and unit operations, including staffing and patient flow.
• Develop and monitor unit performance metrics (LOS, overtime, turnover).
• Ensure patient care standards and safety initiatives are followed.
• Collaborate with leadership and committees to drive improvements.
• Promote patient experience and staff engagement through effective communication.
