Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN is required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current licensure with the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification.
• 5 years related experience; 1 year nursing leadership experience.
• Ability to travel to business functions/trainings/meetings and all St. Charles Health System worksites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of the ICU department 24/7.
• Manage staffing, master schedules, and budgeting.
• Collaborate with staff and medical leadership to ensure safe patient care.
• Lead quality initiatives and process improvements.
• Develop annual plan with director and supervisor for the unit.
• Hire, coach, and evaluate direct reports to maintain a high‑performing team.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain effective communication with staff and other departments.
