Adventist HealthCare's White Oak Medical Center in Maryland seeks an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager for our IMCU who will support patient-centered care and operational excellence. You will lead staff, coordinate daily operations, manage budgets, and uphold regulatory standards while fostering teamwork and evidence-based practice.

This full-time role requires a Maryland RN license, supervisory experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree at least ADN/ Diploma; BSN preferred.
• Two years’ work experience in the unit preferred.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.
• Current Maryland nursing license.
• Certification in department area within first year.
• AHA BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of quality department/clinical services per standards.
• Implement daily operations according to care delivery model.
• Assist Manager with department operations and budgets.
• Collaborate with physicians to assure optimal patient care.
• Promote teamwork and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Develop evidence-based standards of care.
• Ensure adherence to care standards and regulatory requirements.
• Report significant events promptly and communicate resolutions to management.
• Demonstrate customer service excellence and staff relations.
• Serve as role model, coach, and resource for staff.
• Perform other duties as required.
