Job summary

Qualifications

• Current registration in nursing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Bachelor’s of Nursing degree required.
• MSN, DNP, PhD, or Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Current certification required or to be attained within two years of hire; certification must be maintained.
• CCR N/ACLS certification preferred.
• Nursing experience 2–3 years required.
• Critical care clinical nursing experience required.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote, facilitate and support excellent nursing practice and unit-based mission, values and goals.
• Participate in daily huddles/rounds for clinical consultation, coaching, and problem solving.
• Manage day-to-day staffing and resource allocation across the unit.
• Provide guidance on patient assignments and continuity of care.
• Lead quality and performance improvement initiatives using evidence-based practice.
