Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for the ICU to join a collaborative, patient-centered team delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients.

You will report to the ICU Medical Director, perform assessments and procedures, lead daily rounds, coordinate discharge planning, and educate patients and families while practicing at the top of your license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and completion of a 2-year PA or NP program.
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license required; BLS and ACLS.
• Demonstrated analytical abilities and strong clinical reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage ICU patients; coordinate care with Intensivists and teams.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (e.g., arterial/central line, EKGs).
• Lead daily rounds and document care in EMR; discharge planning coordination.
