Job summary

Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking a front-desk / patient services clerk to support nursing and reception operations in our Miami facility. You will respond to patient calls, manage calls and messages, and perform essential clerical tasks for patient admissions and records.

The role requires 1–2 years in healthcare or a related setting, good communication, and accuracy with patient data. We offer comprehensive health benefits and on-site resources to support staff in a busy hospital

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent; medical terminology preferred.
• 1–2 years of healthcare experience.
• No license or certification required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient call lights promptly and inform staff as needed.
• Answer phones before the third ring and relay messages to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform front desk secretarial duties in line with hospital policies.
• Maintain records such as admissions/discharges and transport logs.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system and keep logs updated.
