Job summary

Paycom is seeking an In-Circuit Test (ICT) Engineer L2 to design and implement ICT programs for PCB assemblies. You will develop fixtures, work with TRI/Teradyne/Keysight equipment, and troubleshoot test setups to ensure reliable production testing.

Collaborating with hardware and design teams, you will drive testability improvements, analyze defects, and generate data-driven reports while maintaining compliance with IPC-A-610 and related standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of PCB testing and ICT program development experience.
• Experience with ATE systems (TRI/Teradyne/Keysight) and fixture design.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and test data analysis.
• Proficiency with schematic/PCB data (Gerber) and EDA tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement in-circuit test programs for PCBs.
• Create test fixtures and customize hardware for prototypes to production.
• Debug test setups, analyze failures, and suggest solutions at component level.
• Collaborate with design teams to improve testability and coverage.
• Perform root cause analysis and generate reports on defects and metrics.
• Calibrate and maintain ICT equipment; update software/hardware as needed.
• Develop strategies to optimize test coverage and reduce execution time.
• Ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 and ISO quality standards.
