Job summary

HDR is seeking an Information Communication Technology (ICT)/Security Intern in Kansas City to gain real-world experience applying Building Information Modeling (BIM) to design ICT, ESS and AV systems under the guidance of senior engineers.

You will connect with recent graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals’ programs, while contributing to security system research and supporting ongoing projects within HDR's Building Engineering Services Group.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Active participant in HDR's employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Gain real-world experience on projects by applying BIM to design ICT, ESS and AV systems.
• Work under supervision of senior engineers to assist in researching and designing security systems.
• Connect with recent graduates and company leaders through mentoring/young professionals programs.
• Perform other duties as needed.
