Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team seeks an Information and Communications Technology Designer to perform basic technical duties under supervision, understanding project requirements and delivering tasks in one discipline. You will coordinate production with the workgroup and guide senior staff on task completion.

You will develop systems designs, conduct site surveys, prepare client deliverables, and ensure quality control. Strong CAD/Revit/Bluebeam skills and familiarity with ICT standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years related industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of ICT design principles for backbone and horizontal cabling.

Responsibilities

• Develops systems designs within own discipline with minimal supervision.
• Performs site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and final punch lists.
• Prepares project deliverables per the client’s intent and scope of work.
• Follows quality management processes and QA/QC reviews.
• Participates in professional community for growth and knowledge.
• Creates detailed instructions and delegates tasks to meet schedule and budget.
• Identifies roadblocks and coordinates with other disciplines.
