Job summary

Apogee Consulting Group seeks an ICT Consultant to drive electrical and low voltage construction drawings, applying industry standards and collaborating across disciplines. You will lead design efforts from concept to completion, ensuring high quality, timely delivery and budget adherence.

The role requires 6–10 years in telecom/IT/low voltage design, RCDD certification, and a degree in Engineering/Science. Revit skills and travel up to 20% are essential.

Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of telecom, IT, security, or low voltage system design experience.
  • RCDD certification required; PE license a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science/Technical discipline.
  • Proficient in Revit, Revit 360 and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ICT design from concept to completion, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Prepare and review ICT system specifications and ensure code compliance with TDMM, NFPA standards and NEC.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate low voltage systems into the building design; mentor junior engineers.
  • Plan and direct team tasks, provide feedback, and promote professional development.

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented ICT Consultant to join our team. This critical role involves researching, developing, and producing electrical and low voltage construction drawings while applying expertise in industry concepts, practices, and procedures, with potential consultation on complex projects. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and driven individual with a strong emphasis on critical thinking, effectiveness, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the design process from concept to completion, ensuring projects meet high-quality standards, achieve desired outcomes, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop innovative and impactful design solutions that elevate the lives of our users/clients.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform design decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, such as the TDMM, ANSI/TIA standards, NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 72, and local regulations.
  • Prepare and review system specifications for ICT systems, including material requirements, installation methods, and performance standards.
  • Designs telecommunication systems with minimal supervision from senior staff.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure low voltage systems are integrated into the overall building design.
  • Direct and mentor designers and junior engineers in the preparation of ICT system designs, specifications, and documentation.
  • Plan and direct designers on effective execution of design tasks, providing clear guidance and constructive feedback.
  • Challenge and inspire those around them to grow, thrive, and contribute meaningfully.
  • Actively seek out opportunities for professional development and stay abreast of the latest design trends and technologies.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
  • Salary Range: $110,000 - $160,000 Annually ICT Certification: RCDD (required); PE license, a plus. Qualifications:
  • Healthcare Experience is preferred but not required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university in Engineering, Science or Technical discipline preferred.
  • Experience: 6 to 10 years of telecom, IT, security, or other low voltage system design experience.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Revit, Revit 360 and MS Office Suite
