Job summary

Apogee Consulting Group in Raleigh, NC is seeking a motivated ICT Consultant to drive the design of electrical and low-voltage construction drawings from concept to completion, ensuring high quality and on-time delivery while coordinating with architects, engineers and other disciplines.

The role requires a 6–10 year track record in telecom, IT or low-voltage system design, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical field, and proficiency in Revit, Revit 360 and MS Office.

• Healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or Technical discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the design process from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality outcomes and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities - Drive the design process from concept to completion, ensuring projects meet high-quality standards, achieve desired outcomes, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. - Develop innovative and impactful design solutions that elevate the lives of our users/clients. - Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform design decisions and identify opportunities for improvement. - Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, such as the TDMM, ANSI/TIA standards, NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 72, and local regulations. - Prepare and review system specifications for ICT systems, including material requirements, installation methods, and performance standards. - Designs telecommunication systems with minimal supervision from senior staff. - Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure low voltage systems are integrated into the overall building design. - Direct and mentor designers and junior engineers in the preparation of ICT system designs, specifications, and documentation. - Plan and direct designers on effective execution of design tasks, providing clear guidance and constructive feedback. - Challenge and inspire those around them to grow, thrive, and contribute meaningfully. - Actively seek out opportunities for professional development and stay abreast of the latest design trends and technologies. - Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. Salary Range: $110,000 - $160,000 Annually ICT Certification: RCDD (required); PE license, a plus.
