Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 4pm to 12am
The Residential Counselor will provide direct support to the residents of Anna's House. All work is performed in accordance with CATCH policies, procedures, and professional mental health standards. The Residential Counselor will be a member of the Residential Service Team and will have the following major responsibilities:
High School diploma or GED required. Advanced studies in a related field are preferred. A minimum of six months experience in a human services setting involving direct contact with clients is required. Willingness to work a variable schedule including weekends and holidays.
Must have acceptable PA criminal history clearance, FBI clearance, and Child Abuse clearance prior to hire.
Expected hours: 4PM to 12AM, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Must be physically capable of assisting with personal hygiene, lifting clients, sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and restraining clients in emergencies.
