The Residential Counselor will provide direct support to the residents of Anna's House facility. All work is performed in accordance with CATCH policies and procedures, and professional mental health standards. The Residential Counselor will be a member of the Residential Service Team with the following major responsibilities:
High School diploma or GED required. Advanced studies in a related area are preferred. At least six months of experience in a human services field involving direct contact with individuals receiving services is required. Willingness to work variable schedules including weekends and holidays.
Must have acceptable PA criminal history, FBI clearance, and Child Abuse clearance prior to hire.
Various shifts including weekends (8 AM - 4 PM, 4 PM - 12 AM, 12 AM - 8 AM).
Must be physically capable of assisting with personal hygiene, lifting clients, sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and restraining clients in emergencies.
