Job summary

Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking ICP-MS Chemical Laboratory Technicians for contract-to-hire opportunities with a chemical manufacturing company in Portland, OR. This onsite role involves supporting laboratory processes, analysis, and quality initiatives on a 4x10 rotating schedule, including weekends.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Chemistry with 1–5 years of relevant experience, are proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word), and familiar with JMP for data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or closely related field; statistics coursework desirable.
• 1-5 years of direct lab experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word); exposure to JMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for tests and analyses.
• Prepare chemical solutions following standardized formulas or procedures.
• Test and analyze chemicals to determine purity.
• Document results of tests and analyses.
• Lead gauge repeatability and reproducibility studies (GR&R) and MSA activities.
• Utilize ERP system to move product and notify plant of out-of-control product.
