BestCare Treatment Services, Inc. is seeking an ICOD-Integrated Co-Occurring Disorders Peer Support Specialist/Certified Recovery Mentor for its CCBHC program.

The role involves peer support, recovery coaching, transport assistance, and group facilitation to help clients with co-occurring disorders engage in recovery and community services. A strong personal recovery background is required and ongoing recovery must be maintained.

Formación

• Must have personal lived experience with co-occurring disorders, including recovery from substances and mental illness.
• Must maintain continuous recovery for at least 2 years at hire with sobriety/mental health stability.
• CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide peer support and recovery coaching to clients with co-occurring disorders.
• Assist with transportation, outreach, and engagement to relink clients to services.
• Facilitate classes and support groups and assist with documentation in the EHR system.
• Support clients in community activities, wellness, and recovery-oriented events.
• Maintain case notes and report client participation to supervisor.

Educación

High School Diploma

Personal lived experience with co-occurring disorders

Minimum 2 years sobriety/clean time
