Job summary

Fauquier Health in Warrenton, VA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Nursery (ICN). This role involves caring for ICN-level newborns and stable postpartum dyads, with a mix of routine newborn/mother care and attending deliveries.

Sign-on bonus up to $16,000 is offered, with a 3x12-hour night schedule and weekends rotation. Join our Women’s Services Team to deliver high-quality care in a family birthing center environment.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license active.
• BLS certification within 7 days of hire.
• NRP may be obtained during orientation week.
• EFM competency within 6 months of hire.
• BSN degree preferred; ADN acceptable with experience.
• Minimum 2 years in Women’s Services (NICU, L&D, ICN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Cares for ICN-level newborns and stable postpartum couples.
• Supports deliveries, manages emergencies, transitions and transfers.
• Documents care and updates the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
