Job summary

Fauquier Health, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an ICU Registered Nurse to join the team in Warrenton, VA. This full-time role features rotating 3-12 hour shifts and weekends, with a sign-on bonus of up to $16,000. The ICU delivers 24/7 intensivist coverage and high-level critical care close to home.

Applicants must hold a Virginia RN license (or compact) with BLS; ACLS/NIHSS within 30 days. BSN preferred and at least 1 year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license.
• BLS required within 7 days of hire.
• ACLS and NIHSS required within 30 days of hire.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
