Job summary

Fauquier Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Emergency Services in Warrenton, VA. This full-time night-shift role includes three 12-hour shifts per week (7p-7a) with weekend rotation and a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

The 22-bed ED relies on skilled nurses and ED physicians to deliver emergency care in the community. The RN will perform patient assessments, initiate interventions, document care accurately, and contribute to the interdisciplinary care plan.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia state RN license or compact state license.
• BLS required within 7 days of hire.
• ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required within 30 days of hire.
• CEN certification required within 2 years of hire.
• Previous ED experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Completes and revises the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
