Ellaway Blues Consulting is seeking a Computational Engineering Manager in Texas to lead a team of computational engineers, set the modelling strategy, and drive ICME-based insights across materials and manufacturing programs.

You'll bridge computational and experimental engineering, working with process development and materials teams to scale advanced manufacturing technologies and shape long-term technology strategy.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a materials/engineering field.
• Strong industrial computational materials engineering background.
• Proven people leadership and project management experience.
• Willingness to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of computational engineers.
• Define the computational modelling strategy across a broad portfolio.
• Develop ICME methodologies to model metallurgical systems and processes.
• Apply thermodynamic modelling, materials informatics, ML, CFD and image-based analysis.
• Collaborate with experimental engineers to integrate modelling with lab work.
• Publish technical work and represent the business within the engineering community.
• Manage multiple technical projects aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with universities, national laboratories and strategic partners.
