Cherokee Nation Defense Solutions CNDS is seeking an Electronic Technician III to provide specialized electronic support for ICIDS at Fort Sill, OK. The role involves installing, configuring, repairing, and maintaining ICIDS zones and equipment, with emphasis on ensuring operation within manufacturer specs.

Responsibilities include surveys, software updates, preventive maintenance, database management, and handling special features like AES and IS sensors.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in related field or discipline.
• At least 2 years of working with ICIDS or similar intrusion detection.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in repairs or maintenance.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications and obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assists with location surveys to identify ICIDS requirements.
• Perform software/system changes to ensure equipment functionality.
• Prepare work requests and schedule preventive maintenance.
• Maintain ICIDS database for remote monitoring access.
• Provide maintenance for ICIDS features such as AES and IS sensors.
• Perform standard and emergency maintenance calls including wiring changes.
• Replace backup batteries and install new zones as required.
• Reconfigure zones, relocate sensors, and modify wiring as needed.
• Undertake other job-related duties as assigned.
