Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Security Electronics Technician III to install, maintain, and repair integrated security systems (VSS, ACS, IDS) for federal and commercial clients. The role is remote, with a requirement to be local to the Memphis, TN area.

A Treasury clearance or ability to obtain one is required. The candidate should have 3+ years of relevant experience, strong electronics fundamentals, and proficiency with testing equipment, wiring, and system integration.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3+ years of experience in government or commercial installations.
• Experience with VSS, ACS and IDS hardware/software.
• Formal training in electronics and circuitry; certifications preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment Cherokee Federal qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, procure, install, and maintain electronic security systems.
• Inventory management of security equipment.
• Provide technical guidance to customers and team members.
• Install and test surveillance cameras and monitoring software.
• Follow plans, schematics, and manufacturer guidance.
• Close work orders with detailed descriptions; submit reports to PM on schedule.
