Job summary

Cherokee Federal Solutions (CFS) seeks a Security Electronics Technician III to install, maintain, and repair integrated electronic security systems in a remote role local to the Boston area. The position requires VSS, ACS, and IDS experience and the ability to obtain a Department of Treasury clearance.

Estimated starting salary is $36.00–$40.00 per hour with full-time benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K. Strong documentation and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in government or commercial installations.
• Experience in VSS, ACS, IDS hardware/software installation, maintenance and support.
• Test equipment proficiency: multimeters, tracer, video test monitor.

Responsibilities

• Plan, procure, install and maintain security systems and annual IDS testing.
• Inventory control of equipment and updating systems.
• Provide technical guidance to customers and team members.
