Job summary

Farmers is seeking an ICFR Operations Specialist to evaluate IT and business internal controls over financial reporting. The role supports quarterly certifications, materiality scoping, and remediation efforts, partnering with ICFR leadership to maintain documentation and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in auditing, IT auditing or governance/internal controls.
• Experience at a Big 4 or large national CPA firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the quarterly control certification process and evaluate control design.
• Consult leadership on the design and evaluation of new controls and effectiveness.
• Liaise between operations and ICFR testing groups to ensure timely information sharing.
• Document control deficiencies, complete remediation plans, and follow-up on remediation adequacy.
• Assist ICFR leadership with annual planning documentation, materiality, scoping, and risk assessments.
