Job summary

Rainbow Omega Inc. in Eastaboga, AL is seeking an ICF Resident Aide (Direct Support Professional) to provide direct care for individuals with developmental disabilities.

You will work with the nurse team and coordinators to deliver daily care and therapeutic activities within a non-institutional setting. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Driver’s License required; pre-employment drug screen, background check, and TB test.
• CNA certification and/or 1 year of experience with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Must complete required training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for residents and support nursing staff.
• Take direction from the ICF Team-Lead Nurse and program coordinators.
• Assist in implementing Active Treatment Care Plans and track progress.
• Administer therapeutic activities with the Activities Coordinator.
• Serve meals and model positive social interaction during meals.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety to meet licensing and regulatory rules.
• Transport and supervise residents for appointments and outings.
• Remain awake, alert, and focused during all shifts.
