Job summary

Niles Parks is looking for a part-time IceLand Zamboni Driver/Maintenance Tech in Niles, Illinois. This position involves operating a Zamboni and maintaining the ice arena. IceLand Zamboni Driver/Maintenance Tech (Part‑Time)

IceLand Ice Arena is seeking one dedicated Zamboni driver/maintenance technician.

Responsibilities

• Open the facility in the early morning.
• Operate a Zamboni ice resurfacer.
• Maintain and clean the facility daily.
• Monitor refrigeration system and log hourly readings of equipment.
• Perform building maintenance: clean washrooms, change light bulbs, take out trash, mop floors, wash windows, and other janitorial chores.
• Report directly to the General Manager.

Requirements

Qualified candidates with prior ice resurfacer experience are preferred, but training is provided.

Applicants must be flexible and be available to work the hours stated.

Must be 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.

Must be able to read, write and speak English.

This is a part‑time position with no benefits.
