Job summary

City of New Hope Minnesota is seeking a Zamboni driver to maintain ice quality and surface, and to keep locker rooms and surrounding areas clean and orderly. You will follow resurfacing schedules and work with staff to ensure smooth daily operation.

Responsibilities include customer service, light maintenance, and assisting with building closures. Must be 18+, HS diploma, and able to work nights/weekends in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of ice arena operations.
• Experience operating ice resurfacing equipment.
• Experience sharpening skates.
• Ability to work cold air and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ice rink, locker rooms, bleachers and surrounding areas as assigned by supervisor.
• Follow posted resurfacing times to manage facility schedule.
• Perform cleaning to keep facility and surroundings clean and presentable.
