Job summary

IceLand Ice Arena in Niles, IL is seeking a dependable Zamboni driver to join our team and help prepare the rink for daily operations.

Responsibilities include opening the facility in the early morning, operating the Zamboni, monitoring refrigeration, and performing basic cleaning and maintenance.

Candidates should be 18+, have a valid driver's license, and be able to read, write and speak English; training provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver's license.
• Prior ice resurfacer experience preferred but training provided.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• This is a part-time position with no benefits.

Responsibilities

• Open the facility in the early morning.
• Maintain and clean the facility daily.
• Operate a Zamboni ice resurfacer.
• Monitor refrigeration system and log hourly readings of equipment.
• Perform janitorial tasks including cleaning washrooms, changing light bulbs, taking out trash, mopping floors, washing windows.

Responsibilities include:

• opening facility in the early morning
• maintaining and cleaning of facility daily
• Operation a Zamboni ice resurfacer
• Monitoring refrigeration system and logging hourly readings of equipment
• Building maintenance including cleaning washrooms, changing light bulbs, taking out trash, mopping floors, washing windows and general janitorial chores
• Maintenance Tech reports directly to the General Manager.

Requirements

• Qualified candidates with prior ice resurfacer experience preferred but training is provided.
• Applicants must be flexible and be available to work hours stated.
• Must be 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• This is a part time position with no benefits.
