Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; trade school preferred.
• 1–3 years of mechanical repair/fabrication experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical/structural repair techniques.
• Ability to read work orders, repair specs and diagrams.
• Welding, grinding, and fabrication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect ice boxes and storage units to assess damage and determine repairs.
• Replace damaged panels, doors, seals, insulation and internal components.
• Conduct final quality inspections to ensure safety and appearance standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of refurbishment center and tools.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain PPE usage.
