Job summary

ImOn Arena is seeking a Zamboni Building Attendant to maintain ice quality through resurfacings and to keep locker rooms, restrooms, and spectator areas clean. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, event setup, safety compliance, and customer service for the public.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 18+ years of age, and willingness to work nights/weekends in a cold indoor environment. Training on Zamboni equipment is available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and oral directions.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Ability to safely operate heavy or mechanical equipment.
• Strong awareness of safety procedures and hazard prevention.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with ice resurfacing equipment (Zamboni) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate Zamboni and ice resurfacing equipment to maintain ice surface.
• Monitor ice conditions and adjust thickness, temperature, and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and perform blade changes or minor repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of locker rooms, bathrooms, lobbies, bleachers, and hallways.
• Assist with rink setup for events and close the building as needed.
• Provide customer service and assist the general public.
• Shovel and salt sidewalks and exits to maintain safe entry and egress.
• Work as part of a team to prepare the arena for the next day.
