Job summary

Osseo Area School District ISD 279 is seeking a part-time custodian to perform custodial, maintenance, and ice care duties at the ice arena, ensuring a clean, safe, and operational facility for all users.

The role includes learning to operate a Zamboni, cleaning restrooms and public areas, and maintaining exterior grounds. Evening and weekend availability is required; training for Zamboni operation may be provided.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to safely operate a Zamboni (training may be provided).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Bargaining unit: Custodians.

Responsibilities

• Must learn to operate Zamboni to prepare and maintain ice surfaces.
• Clean restrooms, lobby, bleachers, and promptly address spills.
• Maintain exterior grounds, including shoveling snow and removing trash or debris.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
