Job summary

The Bakersfield Condors are seeking motivated individuals to join our Ice Crew for all home games this season, including playoffs. You’ll be part of a high-energy team responsible for ice maintenance and fan interaction.

Candidates should be proficient skaters with experience in an ice rink, capable of lifting up to 30 lbs, and able to stand or sit for extended periods during games and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in an ice rink setting
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs
• Proficient ice-skater
• Able to stand or sit for four hours

Responsibilities

• Skating onto the ice to remove snow and ice build-up during media timeouts.
• Interacting with fans at arena entrances to hand out materials and engage the crowd.
• Assisting with game operations as directed by the Game Operations Manager or Game Day Manager.
• Contributing to in-game promotions such as T-shirt tosses, ceremonies and intermission contests.
• Aiding in arena tear downs on select nights.
• Creating a fun, positive atmosphere with stellar guest service.
