Job summary

The Bakersfield Condors are seeking a Street Team member to represent the team at home games and community events. You will run pregame activations, engage fans, and help promote the Condors brand with a service-first mindset.

Responsibilities include lifting promotional materials up to 75 pounds, engaging fans of all ages, and working evenings, weekends, and holidays per the AHL schedule.

• Engage with fans, staff, and partners to promote the Bakersfield Condors brand through a service-oriented approach.
• Lift and transport promotional materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Create a positive first impression and engage with fans of all ages at events.
• Represent the Bakersfield Condors professionally at community events and appearances.
• Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting to the Coordinator, Event Operations and Retail; The Street Team is an energetic group who are passionate about and committed to promoting the Bakersfield Condors. Their primary responsibility is to represent the Bakersfield Condors brand at home games through pregame plaza activations and a variety of community events.

Your Focus in this Role:

• Execute engaging pregame activations throughout Condor’s home games, including assembling and disassembling simple promo booths/ and providing entertainment for attendees
• Engage with Condors fans, staff, and partners in a variety of circumstances, driving positive association with the brand through a service-oriented mindset
• Lift and transport promotional materials weighing up to 75 pounds
• Create a positive first impression and engage with fans of all ages
• Represent the Bakersfield Condors professionally at community events and promotional appearances
• Perform other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned

Education, Experience, and Skills:

• Knowledge of hockey and/or Condors events will be considered an asset
• Able to perform mildly strenuous activity for several hours at a time
• Superior interpersonal communication skills
• Positive, energetic and professional attitude
• Passion for the sports and entertainment industry
• Schedule flexibility to work game nights; will be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays based on AHL schedule

Compensation:

This role is budgeted to start at $16.90
