Job summary

Idaho Milk Products is seeking an Ice Cream Research and Development Scientist to join our Main Plant in Jerome, Idaho. The role involves lab and pilot-scale work to develop high-quality ice cream and frozen desserts, data collection, prototype making, and calibration maintenance in a state-of-the-art MIC.

You will support R&D scientists through sample testing, inventory management, and documentation while contributing to innovative product development in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of laboratory technician or production staff experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lab management and testing duties, including data collection and testing of ice cream and frozen desserts.
• Support plant trials and production activities per schedule with SOP adherence.
• Maintain inventory of chemicals, ice cream ingredients and lab equipment.
