The role requires reading blueprints, diagnosing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, and keeping detailed maintenance logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in industrial maintenance, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Experience with refrigeration or pasteurizers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency repairs on mixers, pasteurizers, freezers, packaging machines, and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Inspect and replace worn parts to prevent major breakdowns.
• Document maintenance activities and report equipment conditions.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with OSHA, FDA, and GMP standards.
• Support production teams with technical recommendations and process improvements.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and maintenance logs.
• Assist in training staff on equipment use and safety.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
