Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems is seeking a GCS / Cartoner Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain packaging equipment for ice cream novelties and frozen desserts. You will ensure accurate grouping, counting, cartonizing, coding, and packaging while upholding food safety and production efficiency standards.

The role emphasizes supporting packaging line performance, minimizing downtime, and ensuring finished products meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing or food production preferred.
• Experience operating automated cartoning/packaging equipment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to read and follow production schedules and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor GCS and cartoning equipment to group, count, orient and package frozen novelty products.
• Set up and adjust cartoning equipment to meet product specifications.
• Load carton materials and packaging components while ensuring proper operation.
• Verify counts, carton configurations and packaging materials meet specs.
• Perform startups, shutdowns, and changeovers per procedures and document downtime and quality information.
• Conduct routine quality inspections of finished cartons for coding, labeling and packaging quality.
• Monitor equipment for jams, misfeeds, and sensor faults; perform minor troubleshooting.
• Support downstream packaging, labeling, palletizing, and staging of finished product.
• Maintain sanitation and compliance with HACCP, SQF, GMP, FDA requirements.
