Baskin-Robbins Norfolk is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Part-Time Cake Decorator to join our team. You will decorate ice cream cakes to order, ensuring quality and presentation while delivering a fun guest experience.

No previous bakery experience is required—training provided. You should have steady hands, be able to work weekends and holidays, stand for long periods, and lift up to 25 lbs. Starting pay is $18.00/hour with employee discounts and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Previous cake decorating or bakery experience preferred, but training provided.
• Steady hands and an eye for design.
• Able to work under time constraints during peak seasons.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Decorate ice cream cakes according to customer orders and Baskin-Robbins standards
• Prepare custom cake designs for special orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary cake decorating station
• Manage cake inventory and communicate supply needs to management
• Assist with taking and confirming custom cake orders
• Ensure cakes are completed accurately and on time for pickup
• Follow all food safety and handling guidelines
• Support general store operations and customer service as needed
