Plymouth Ice Center is seeking a friendly part-time associate to deliver excellent guest service and assist with concessions. You will welcome visitors, educate them on policies, handle transactions, and help maintain a clean, safe space.

Responsibilities include taking orders, stocking supplies, renting ice skates, and assisting with events. Evening and weekend availability is required to support open skate sessions and holidays.

We are seeking candidates who are eager to adopt and champion our mission and values.Pay Range:$15.99 - $18.55 Hourly Job Description:**Primary Objective of Position**This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to ice center users and guests by welcoming and greeting people entering the facility. This position educates guests about the Plymouth Ice Center policies and provides any direction needed. This position also assists the ice technicians and maintenance staff in cleaning and disinfecting of public spaces. While working in the concession stand, this position takes food orders, prepares the food and stocks concession supplies/food as needed. This position is also required to use the onsite point of sale system and to help keep a clean and safe environment for all.**Major Areas of Responsibility*** Customer Service – greet and educate guests on the facility policies* Assist in cleaning of public spaces* Concession Stand – takes food order from customer and prepares food by following sanitary guidelines* Receives money and makes correct change for customer using point of sale system* Completes necessary reports and duties* Balances cash till* Performs clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area including cleaning equipment and surrounding area* Rents out ice skates for open skate sessions* Take tickets during large events* Work assigned hours or find appropriate substitute**Minimum Qualifications*** Must be able to work evening and weekend hours, including holidays.* Must have knowledge and skill in handling money, including making change.* Friendly personality* Detail oriented* Self-motivated* Honest and trustworthy* Ability to communicate with the public* Ability to stand for an extended period of time* Demonstrated ability to perform in accordance with the City of Plymouth’s CIVIC values (customer focus, integrity, visionary, inclusion and connection) and comfort with supporting and advancing the city council’s strategic priorities.
