Job summary

University of Texas Applied Research Laboratories seeks a Physical Security Specialist (Special Programs) for the Pickle Research Campus in Austin. You will oversee the design, construction, and refurbishing of ICD-705 facilities and serve as Site Security Manager for these facilities.

You will coordinate accreditations with government sponsors, review drawings for security compliance, and manage lifecycle documentation from initial accreditation to decommissioning, while working with security

Qualifications

• Five years of demonstrated relevant experience in security, engineering, business management or similar field.
• Knowledge of ICD705, Tech Specs, DODM 5205.07, Vol 3 SAP Physical Security.
• Ability to work with diverse clients and handle sensitive/classified information.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, construction and refurbishing of ICD-705 facilities.
• Serve as Site Security Manager (SSM) for ICD-705 facilities and assist with accreditations.
• Coordinate with government sponsors, laboratories, and contractors to ensure security requirements are applied.
• Review architectural drawings for security compliance and manage lifecycle documentation.
