Responsibilities

• Review and code outpatient medical records (ED, outpatient surgery, observation) using ICD-10-CM and CPT.
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with guidelines and regulations.
• Enter coded data into the MEDITECH EHR to support billing and reimbursement.
• Review AFMC ASC payment group reassignments for coding errors and education.
