Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review patient medical history and reports to verify diagnosis codes.
• Review clinical documentation and assign accurate diagnosis codes.
• Assist in obtaining medical records from previous physicians.
• Review and advise about HEDIS measures.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and coding regulations.
• Educate physicians regarding proper billing and documentation policies.
• Prepares and submits reports to the supervisor.
• Prepares and submit claims from the visit.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines.
• Performs other duties relevant to the position.
